Jonathan is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is the co-founder of QBX, a technology infrastructure firm focused on liquidity systems for the digital economy. In 2014 he founded Binary Capital, a 300M early stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco. Previously, Jonathan was managing director at General Catalyst and a Principal at Benchmark. He has sourced and led investments in Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, Unikrn and Bitfury, among numerous other consumer and blockchain focused companies. In 2016, Forbes Magazine named Jonathan to its prestigious Midas Brink List. Prior, Jonathan was an early engineering leader at Google, where he oversaw the company’s global data center infrastructure expansion and R&D efforts. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Sydney and a masters degree in management science and engineering from Stanford, and holds multiple patents in the area of wireless security.
